A Culture of Joy
Working at Bella Groves isn’t your average job. Then again, we’re not going for average. We invite you to join the team who’s dedicated to fostering an environment that is fulfilling personally and professionally. One that places a high value on teamwork, continuous learning and a strong work/life balance.
Be part of something bigger. Let’s face it – the senior living industry has a workforce problem. Most estimates show a greater than 100% turnover rate across the industry as a whole. The harsh reality is that caregivers change over multiple times a year at most care facilities due to being overworked and overwhelmed, while also being underpaid and underappreciated. It’s time for a change.
Great care begins with having great caregivers. Our mission at Bella Groves is to create a culture of joy for those affected by dementia, but we know that that culture begins with a culture of joy among our team members. YOUR SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS
Creating value for frontline heroes.

Pay
Our CEO started his senior living career in 2008 as a caregiver making $8 an hour – don’t worry, that won’t be your experience. Most senior living wages in Texas are slightly higher than minimum wage – but we feel that’s still not enough. Bella Groves offers our caregivers $15+ an hour starting, and the opportunities only grow from there.
-
Training
We have all been through the frustration of not receiving the tools we need to be successful in our jobs. In memory care, there is a lack of training and education on how to care for those living with dementia. At Bella Groves, all team members are immersed in a 13-week dementia training as part of their onboarding and retention criteria. Team members who “graduate” from this training can expect to receive ongoing learning support through our proprietary dementia methodology and curriculum called Go With The F.L.O.W.™.

Workload
The average resident to caregiver ratio at a memory care facility is 8:1. On top of that, when caregivers leave, others have to pick up shifts or put in more work to get things running smoothly, leading to the physical, mental, and emotional burnout of employees. At Bella Groves, the resident to caregiver ratio is 4:1. We want to ease the caregiver workload so we can improve the resident and family experience.
-
Growth
We know that it takes more than a salary to gain employee loyalty. Profit-sharing (we earn, you earn!), flexible scheduling, and longevity bonuses are additional ways we strengthen and celebrate our caregivers. For those of you who have the skills, we want to see you grow in other areas. Think there’s no such thing as a flexible or remote job as a caregiver in memory care? For some of you, this could be a career game changer. Interested?
